Here we are, another birthday. This one should be interesting as I climb the final rung to fifty. I don’t have any real plans. Audrey fell ill and we may be teen sitting and loafing around the house. Which is fine by me. I’ve gotten to the age where saying home is an okay alternative. Bring some takeout and relax on the couch, maybe catch up on our binge shows. But if we get the chance to go out to our favorite eatery, I will enjoy that as well. We rarely go out nowadays, so the occasional outing is welcome.
In all honesty, I am rather excited to finally hit the fifty milestone. I hate that I still have one more year to go through to get there. I don’t feel fifty though. Well, my body tries to tell me that I am older with my medical conditions, but I find it difficult to believe that I have fifty years under my belt. So much has happened so fast. Life. And it just seems to be happening faster and faster each year. It feels like I was just on the porch celebrating the new year, and here we are it’s already going to be April.
Speaking of already April, I have two new novels coming out in 2025. It seems like it is so far away, but with it already being four months into 2024, January of next year will be here before you know it. Wow. I need to get busy so The Five Barred Gate II will be ready for January 5th.
I feel so blessed to have such a supportive group of people around me. My family and all of you. God has surrounded me with some amazing people. I am excited about what this next year of life will bring. How important are the people you have around you to your accomplishments?
Finally, I will have some news soon, something that has been in the works for the past couple of months and I finally got the ball rolling this week. Stay tuned!!
