Little Reminders of Who I Am (2020)
Aaron Stephenson loves his job. As food critic for the popular Houston Gazette, he gets to sample the best cuisine at the finest eateries in Houston without paying a dime. And because there are so many great restaurants in Houston, he doesn’t have to visit the same establishment twice… unless he wants to.
But when Aaron stops in at Davies Deli, a non-descript, off-the-beaten-path, family-owned diner, he suddenly realizes he wants to come back; and it has less to do with the delicious food than the owners’ brown haired, green eyed daughter, Deborah.
Aaron and Deborah feel a mutual attraction. But Deborah has a secret that could change everything.
And then there is Carter…

Little Reminders of Who I Was
Little Reminders of Who I Was (2023)
I don’t have an official Synopsis written yet, but this novel will take place roughly 5 years after the events of Little Reminders of Who I Am. It will center around Carter on a new assignment, much like he was in the first novel. Derrick Stephens is a college student working in a bookstore, go figure, Carter loves books. He has recently lost his mom, and is struggling. Carter enters his life to help him refocus. Breonna is a coworker who has an interest in Derrick, but between studies and the loss of his mom, he takes little notice of her. But, then there’s Carter. He will leave his little reminders to draw them closer, as well as Derrick closer to God. But there is something about Derrick that will throw Carter for a loop. It will hit him hard enough that he may need an old friend to help him get back on track. I wonder who that old friend will be? Did I mention that this sequel takes place in Houston as the first novel did?
I plan to write this during NaNoWriMo 2021. — Follow all the updates here.
