Hello friends!! Thanks for visiting my page. Here is just a little bit about myself. I live in a small town in South Central Texas with my wife Carolyn and one of our five children. We attend the local First Baptist Church where we have been serving for ten years. I am a Full-Time Freelance Writer, Blogger, and Author. I’ve had a passion for writing since High School, and I plan to use my voice to make people laugh, cry, and cheer all to the glory of God.
In addition to my freelance work, I have a series of Children’s books, Elissa the Curious Snail, that were published in June 2018. I’ve written seven novels, five are available on Amazon. My next will be released in January 2025, and the following is set for October of 2025.
Here is the breakdown:
The Five Barred Gate, Little Reminders of Who I Am, The Transference, and Little Reminders of Who I Was are published and available on Amazon and most book-selling sites. My fifth novel, Little Reminders of Who I’m Going to Be, the completion of the trilogy, was released on October 25, 2023. My sixth novel, The Five Barred Gate II, will go to the publisher in mid-April, and be released on Jan 5, 2025. Currently, I am getting ready to edit The Transference II. Whew.
Writing is a huge part of my life. I’ve been writing since I was in Jr. High school, and I’ve always felt that God has called me to write. But it wasn’t until I turned 40 that I took it seriously. Something else happened when I turned 40; I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. There’s an amazing story behind this and why I call my diagnosis a blessing from God. I shared it on my GodTV blog. You can read about GOD’S PROVISION: HIS BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE here.
Finally, my Elissa publisher interviewed me in a series called, In His Own Words. In this Q&A I talk about what writing means to me and the motivation behind each word.
Feel free to contact me or leave a message below or on any of my blog posts. I look forward to hearing about how God is working in your life! You can also find me on Twitter most days, well, I guess it’s “X” now.
In His Exciting Service,
Jeff
