This phrase has hit me several times in the last several weeks. And it ever rings true. Whether it be a cancer diagnosis, financial difficulties, or just a bad day… but God.
Countless verses in the Bible remind us of God’s faithfulness:
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
– Romans 5:8
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)
– Ephesians 2:4-5
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
– I Corinthians 10:13
When we are at our darkest moments we don’t need to fret. But God. He is there. With love, with mercy, with freedom. God is there. All we need to do is reach out, pray, cry out and he is there.
