Hello friends!! Thanks for visiting my page. Here is just a little bit about myself. I live in a small town in South Central Texas with my wife Carolyn and one of our five children. We attend the local First Baptist Church where we have been serving for ten years. Since I no longer work, I spend my time as a Blogger and Author.
I’ve had a passion for reading and writing since my days at Chaffey High School in Southern California. I thank Mrs. Guilfoyle for starting that passion. Then my time in college. My professor there further stirred my hunger to put pen to paper. Today, I strive to use the voice God has given me to make people laugh, cry, and cheer all to His glory.
As for those works, I have a series of Children’s books, Elissa the Curious Snail, that were published in June 2018. I’ve also written eight (I’m currently writing number nine)novels, six are available on Amazon. My next will be released in February 2026, and the following is set for later this year.
Here is the breakdown:
The Five Barred Gate, The Transference, and Little Reminders Series of books are published and available on Amazon and most book-selling sites. My seventh novel, The Transference II, is in the final editing stages. The Five Barred Gate III, is ready for submission, and The Transference III, is currently being written. Whew.
Writing is a huge part of my life. I’ve been writing since I was in Jr. High school, and I’ve always felt that God has called me to write. But it wasn’t until I turned 40 that I took it seriously. Something else happened when I turned 40; I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. There’s an amazing story behind this and why I call my diagnosis a blessing from God. I shared it on my GodTV blog. You can read about it here: GOD’S PROVISION: HIS BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE.
Finally, my Elissa publisher interviewed me in a series called, In His Own Words. In this Q&A I talk about what writing means to me and the motivation behind each word.
Feel free to contact me or leave a message below or on any of my vlog or blog posts. I look forward to hearing about how God is working in your life! You can also find me on Twitter most days, well, I guess it’s “X” now.
In His Exciting Service,
Jeff S. Bray
